The sunshine and showers at present continue the past. The chances for thunderstorms are 80%. So this afternoon we can look thunderstorms because chances are more that may prolong at least till midnight. Some of these thunderstorms could be severe, producing heavy rain and wind.

Due to Monday’s heavy rain, a Flood Warning has been reported by the National Weather Service for the Grand River in Lake County. This stream’s stage is currently 7.3 feet with flood stage being 8.0 feet.

People expect The Grand River will again rise above flood stage and the rain will continue till Thursday afternoon where it might reach 8.5 feet, according to the Weather Service. Leroy-Perry Township line was closed briefly overnight, but it reopened about 6 a.m.

Today’s high temperature may reach 80-degree with tonight’s low in the mid-50s.Weather report says Wednesday’s high will be in the low-70s, even though there will be a 90% chance of rain and thundershowers, especially after 1 p.m. And probably rain will continue through Friday when mostly dark skies and cooler temperatures are expected to take over.

However, the breezy conditions will continue. Saturday should see mostly sunny conditions along with temperatures in the mid-60s before a chance of rain and somewhat cooler temperatures reappear starting Sunday.
